Adele and her husband Simon Konecki have split after three years of marriage, the star’s rep has confirmed.
The couple got hitched in 2016, after five years of dating, and welcomed their son Angelo in 2012.
In response to a tabloid report claiming the couple have been “living seperate lives”, a representative for the 30-year-old singer told the Sun: “Adele and her partner have separated.
“They are committed to raising their son together lovingly.
“As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”
As her superstar status has continued to rise, Adele has always made sure her family life has stayed private.
After marrying in secret, Adele revealed Simon was officially her husband during a 2017 Grammys acceptance speech.
Adele’s latest album, 25, was released in 2015 and debuted at number one in over 30 countries, breaking first week sales in many of them.
The accompanying tour saw the superstar headline Glastonbury.
Simon is a charity entrepreneur who was born in New York, but attended school in the UK.
In March, Adele sparked rumours she could be making new music, after being spotted entering a New York recording studio.
