Day 2: Sunday 30 October (Nairobi - Nyeri)
I've arrived in Nairobi after a flight from the UK but there's no let-up on this trip. I'm now off on a four-hour coach trip to the Green Hills Hotel in Nyeri.
We're up in the Central Highlands on the edge of the Aberdale National Park but even here we can't escape a reminder of Blighty. Our warm-up ride is around Baden Powell's grave so a cheery start to the trip. I'm hoping it will be clear when we get there so I'll be able to get a glimpse of Mount Kenya.
