Alesha Dixon has sparked a buzz among her fans, with an Instagram post, hinting that a Mis-Teeq reunion could be on the cards.
The âBritainâs Got Talentâ judge had her followers up in arms on Friday afternoon (1 April), when she teased that she could be getting back together with her former bandmates, Su-Elise Nash and Sabrina Washington.
Sharing a throwback photo of the group at their peak, she wrote: âIt's the Mis-Teeq ladies, we're coming back strong!â
The photoâs caption references a lyric from the Mis-Teeq track âB With Meâ, but has also prompted fans to wonder if the trio could be about to reform (something weâre definitely in favour of).
And yes, we know the photo was uploaded on 1 April, but it did appear on her Instagram page after 12pm, suggesting it's no April Fool's joke.
During their time together, Mis-Teeq released two top 10 albums here in the UK, which spawned hit singles like âAll I Wantâ, âOne Night Standâ and, of course, the groupâs signature hit, âScandalousâ.

Since their split in 2005, both Su-Elise and Sabrina have appeared on the reality show âIâm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Hereâ, as well as enjoying success as solo artists.
Su-Elise collaborated with Lethal Bizzle on his track âGoing Out Tonightâ back in 2009, while Sabrina got the thumbs up from pop fans with her debut single âOMGâ in 2010.
Alesha, meanwhile, has gone on to household name status, revitalising her pop career when she appeared on âStrictly Come Dancingâ.
Off the back of âStrictlyâ, she released a string of hit tracks, including the ear-worm âThe Boy Does Nothingâ and the more introspective âBreathe Slowâ, though her most recent offering, âThe Way We Areâ didnât exactly set the charts alight here in Britain.
If they were to reform, though, Mis-Teeq wouldnât be the only UK girl group coming back to the pop scene, with All Saints currently being lauded by critics for their comeback single, âOne Strikeâ.
Thereâs also currently a lot of speculation about whether the Spice Girls are on the verge of reforming, as 2016 marks 20 years since the release of their breakthrough single, âWannabeâ.
HuffPost UK has contacted a representative for Alesha for comment.
