From the word go, it was clear that ‘Big Brother’ housemate Alex Cannon was going to be one to watch in this year’s series.
Alex - like most of this year’s contestants - may well have looked familiar to some ‘BB’ viewers, as he’d previously appeared in one reality show, serving as Vicky Pattison’s right-hand man in the ‘Geordie Shore’ spin-off, ‘Judge Geordie’.
He’s also appeared in several modelling campaigns, including for Adidas and Men’s Health magazine, and got arguably the biggest cheer from the crowd on launch night.
Speaking about his work in his ‘BB’ entrance VT, he said: “If it’s, like, a fitness shoot or underwear or something like that, then obviously the kit’s got to come off. I think I’m a piece of meat, I suppose.”
Before making his way into the house, host Emma Willis took the moment to grill Alex about the aforementioned “kit off” scenario, to which he joked that viewers would be seeing “everything” during his time in the house.
Also working as a personal trainer, Alex’s laissez-faire attitude to lopping his top off also extends to his social media pages, with his hundreds of thousands of followers (which we don’t doubt will be growing and growing over the show’s run) often being treated to a selfie or two, showcasing his impressive physique.
