Fans of Alicia Silverstone think she might’ve just made a clueless mistake, and now they’re highly concerned about her well-being.

On Monday, the actor sparked alarm after she posted a video on TikTok where she appeared to pick a poisonous fruit off a plant and eat it while walking in England.

“OK, I’ve discovered something that I can’t figure out what it is, and I need your help,” Silverstone told her 4 million-plus followers in the clip. “I just bit into it because it was on the street, and we were discussing whether this was a tomato or not.”

The “Batman & Robin” star shared that she didn’t think the small orange-colored fruit could be a tomato because of how the plant’s leaves looked and asked fans for help identifying the miniature fruit.

“So, what the heck is this? Because, when you open it up, it looks like that,” she said, before pivoting her phone to show the squashed fruit on the ground. “And if I bite it — I don’t think you’re supposed to eat this — but it’s almost like a pepper? Does anyone know what this is?”

The “Reptile” actor doubled down on her inquiry in the post’s caption, writing, “What the heck is this!? I’m in England and can’t figure it out.”

Though Silverstone has yet to post an update on how she’s feeling after eating the peculiar fruit, many people speculated that she munched on a Jerusalem cherry, which looks similar to a cherry tomato, has seeds akin to those of a pepper and is poisonous.

Eating a Jerusalem cherry can cause symptoms including fever, sweating, vomiting, stomach pain, headache and an increased heart rate, according to the Queensland Poisons Information Centre. The symptoms can last days, and death has even been reported.

“Jerusalem Cherry… They are poisonous 😬,” one person commented.

Another wrote, “You bit into something you don’t know what it is? On the street!!?”

“Is Alicia ok??? We need an update!” someone else commented.

Concern over Silverstone’s bizarre sampling trickled over to X, formerly called Twitter, as well.

Are we just not going to talk about Alicia Silverstone poisoning herself by eating Jerusalem Cherries off a bush because she didn't know what they were? Is she still alive? pic.twitter.com/LbUj2poCrj
