Amanda Holden has branded rumours she’s eyeing a spot on this year’s I’m A Celebrity “bollocks”.
Earlier this week, Woman’s Own magazine ran a story suggesting that the Britain’s Got Talent judge was hoping to enter the jungle, quoting a source who claimed she wanted to show her “tough side” to the public.
However, Amanda has now set the record straight, making it explicitly clear that she won’t be taking part.
Retweeting a story from The Mirror that claimed “Amanda Holden ‘for I’m A Celebrity 2019 line-up’ amid Phillip Schofield feud”, Amanda hit back: “Seriously where does this bollocks come from??”
She continued: “I love Ant and Dec but I wouldn’t do the show even for £1 million. It is my absolute favourite one to watch though. And I’m looking forward to the new series.”
Amanda is best known for her judging role on Britain’s Got Talent, and is currently appearing on the panel of the all-star Champions edition.
She also recently joined the presenting team at Heart Radio, and is now gearing up to take part in a skydive to raise money for the Global’s Make Some Noise charity.
While Amanda seemingly won’t be on the new I’m A Celebrity line-up, rumours have begun swirling about who will be heading Down Under later in the year.
Among the potential stars are former footballer Ian Wright, Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson and Love Island favourite Maura Higgins.
Also rumoured are TV personality Ulrika Johnsson, rugby player James Haskell and Blue star Duncan James.
