Amber Heard has been granted a restraining order against husband Johnny Depp, after she accused him of physically assaulting her.

At a hearing on Friday (27 May), a judge ruled in favour of the actress, meaning Johnny would have to stay a minimum of 100 yards away from his wife for the next month, as well as abstaining from any kind of contact.

She chose to appeal for the restraining order following an incident of alleged domestic violence, which she says occurred last weekend, just days before she filed for divorce from the ‘Edward Scissorhands’ actor, citing “irreconcilable differences” as her reason at the time.

She submitted a photo of herself with a bruised cheek as evidence, which she says was taken after the incident, also claiming that this was not an isolated incident, but one of several outbursts during their brief relationship.
