Amy Schumer won her pregnancy announcement by hinting the news on her own Instagram before confirming it in a low-key message on a friend’s Insta-story. Because of course she did.
The 37-year-old comedian and actress initially posted a photo of her and her husband Chris Fischer’s faces superimposed on a picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who recently announced they’re expecting their first child.
In the snap, Meghan was holding her bump. “About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellin Insta page,” Schumer captioned the photoshop. Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise she breaks down what’s really going on. She agreed to post a lil noise today for me!”
A pretty big hint, Schumer-style, no?
If that weren’t enough for her followers, Schumer’s news was confirmed on her pal’s Instagram – where journalist Jessica Yellin was posting Schumer’s recommendations for the upcoming US midterm elections.
The list of candidates for congress and governor was signed off: “I’m pregnant-Amy Schumer.”
Low-key, and we love it.
This will be Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer’s first child, after the pair married in a similarly low-key ceremony in February this year.
