Ofcom have ruled that they won’t be launching an investigation into model Sadie Pinn’s impromptu - and near-naked - appearance during this year’s Brit Awards broadcast.
In one of the night’s most surreal moments, Sadie got up from her table while Ant and Dec were introducing Jess Glynne, and got in between the Geordie duo, while wearing next to nothing, as they hosted their live link.
The incident attracted 60 complaints to Ofcom after it was aired during the ceremony’s live broadcast last month, and at the time, they said they were “assessing” the complaints, alongside others made about Adele’s swearing during her acceptance speech.
However, in a new media report published on Monday, they confirmed they wouldn’t be investigating either incident.
Sadie previously said of the stunt: “I only decided to do it five minutes before, but I know them and I asked Pam [Hogg, the artist responsible for this year’s Brit Awards statuettes].
The scantily-clad model’s stunt isn’t the only time that the usually well-behaved Ant and Dec’s names have been linked to Ofcom complaints, though, with the TV watchdogs investigating two complaints made after someone was shown in ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’, driving carelessly while holding a mobile phone.
This follows Ofcom receiving 54 complaints last week, over the pair awarding hotel owner Andrea Murdoch a free cruise, after she had laughed off the idea of taking three months’ sick leave to a trip to Italy.
