Ariana Grande has claimed she did not allow a clip of Tiger King star Carole Baskin to be featured in the music video for her new duet with Justin Bieber.
On Friday, Ariana and Justin unveiled their new lockdown love song Stuck With U, a charity single aiming to raise money for the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
Along with the song itself, the pair also debuted its video, made up of clips of themselves performing the song at home, as well as a host of celebrities.
But while Gwyneth Paltrow, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Michael Bublé and Chance The Rapper all made the cut, Ariana has revealed that one famous cameo was specifically left out of the video.
Hours before the Stuck With U video debuted, Justin posted a clip of Carole Baskin and her current husband, Howard, swaying to the song, to tease the release
However, Ariana was quick to point out that she had not allowed the controversial animal rights activist to appear in the final video.
“For the record, I did not allow or approve this clip to be in the actual video,” she wrote. “But. Nonetheless. It exists and that’s ..... unique.”
Since the release of Tiger King back in March, Carole Baskin has been at the centre of speculation about her late ex-husband, vehemently denying all claims related to the subject.
The Stuck With U video heavily features Justin at home with his wife, Hailey Bieber, while Ariana is seen snuggling with her dog, Toulouse.
Towards the end of the video, though, she appears to confirm a new relationship, when she’s seen looking cosy with a mysterious man, believed to be Los Angeles real estate agent Dalton Gomez.
