It's been a little over two weeks since we launched the Around The World in 14 Days campaign and the time has come to share a bit more of the story with you.
The chances are you're probably wondering what it's all about.
Here goes.
A big hello from Max, Sophie and Elliot. We're three music college students coming to the end of an amazing time at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich, London. We've got two weeks to think big and make something a bit nuts happen. So here it is.
We believe everyone on the planet can make awesome music and we want to share that with everyone, everywhere. So from the 10th-23rd February 2014 we're attempting what is essentially a huge social experiment.
The idea is simple. We're on a mission to bring people all over the world together through the power of music and the human voice. We've asked you to help us make it happen and you haven't disappointed.
The response to date has been phenomenal. You've been checking the project out in your thousands. It's been inspiring to have people worldwide reaching out and inviting us to bring music into their communities and straight to their doorstep. You can check out our interactive map here. It's growing by the day.
It's been a bit of a crazy fortnight since we made the site live and the project has already started to attract some really exciting partnerships. We'd like to say a big thank you to the Huffington Post, Squarespace NYC, Nokia, Maptia.com and Stephen Fry for their support.
The bottom line is that it's you guys reading this who are instrumental in making it happen. We have no idea what's going to happen or where we'll end up. That's for you to decide and we owe you a big thank you for getting behind the project.
Time flies and whilst it's been a great start we want to keep building momentum and challenging what's possible.
