Asos Marketplace Now Has A Charity Shop Section And We're Already Hooked

That's your festival gear sorted, folks.

If you love vintage clothes but don’t have the time (or patience) to rummage around charity shops, then you’re in luck – Asos has launched a set of online charity boutiques for you to browse vintage goods on the go.

The retail giant has partnered with Oxfam Festival Shop, Barnardo’s and Traid, to sell their wares online – with 100% of proceeds going direct to the partner charities.

Online charity shops are, of course, nothing new – what’s refreshing with Asos is the styling. Rather than charity items being presented on mannequins or some dodgy old hangers, the boutiques have styled the clothes as if part of a regular fashion shoot – allowing you to see them as you would any new pieces on site.

Each boutique will feature men and women’s clothes and will stay online throughout the summer, with regular drops of new products online.

As for what’s currently up for grabs, each shop is offering something different: Oxfam has a lorra band t-shirts for sale, as well as some rainbow-coloured crochet delights; Barnardo’s has some fab leather jackets and denim shirts; Traid has some delightful vintage dresses as well as a few pairs of secondhand men’s cowboy boots that are bringing us real joy.

Oxfam’s Festival Shop is usually only found on site at UK festivals, but will be sharing some of that stock online, while Barnado’s and Traid items will be taken from their stores across the country.

According to Asos terms and conditions, customers are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of receiving an order, provided the item is unworn and immediate packaging is received back in the same condition as it was sent.
