Just in case you still thought reality TV was even remotely close to real life, Audrina Patridge is here to, like, let you know it's not really.

Kristen Cavallari has admitted that she often had to fake fights and relationships ... literally calling her role in the show "acting."

Now, Patridge has corroborated those claims. Apparently, "in the beginning a lot of it was real," but then it got particularly not real, including one fight that producers forced Patridge to have with Cavallari, by locking them in a room together.

"I actually had to leave early for another event, we were there for about three hours and they were like, 'You can't leave until you and Kristin get into a fight,'" she told Ali Fedowtsky and Giuliana Rancic on E! news. "So I'm like, 'Oh my God, Kristin!' Kristin's like, 'Let's do it.' I'm like, 'OK, c'mon.' It was about Justin [Bobby] and we did it and we got to leave."

Note, this comes from the same person who said she was "true to herself" and "wouldn't do anything different," when asked about "The Hills." No word if that's actually coming from her producers. FREE AUDRINA.
