This footage shows a baby elephant being rescued after being stuck in a drain in Sri Lanka.
The calf got stuck in the drain southern port city of Hambantota, where wild elephants roam free.
A wildlife rescue team had to help with the rescue, which saw the walls of the narrow drain knocked out to make it wide enough to pull it to freedom.
The video shows the rescuers attaching ropes to the elephant's legs and pulling it to freedom.
The elephant was taken away for medical treatment after being rescued. The creature is understood to have suffered a broken leg.
