BBC News Presenter Is Caught On The Hop (Literally) As She Misses Cue During Live Bulletin

😂😂😂

We’ve all been late for work, so spare a thought for this BBC News presenter who was only late by a matter of seconds, but it was all caught on camera.

During Friday night’s main BBC News at 10 handover to the UK’s regional bulletins, viewers in Wales were treated to the sight of their presenter being caught on the hop - literally - as she frantically ran to find her spot on camera.

There was even a (hilarious) pregnant pause before she started reading the days stories from Wales.

It’s not the first time a BBC presenter has been caught off-guard on camera.

Tom Donkin was famously seen frantically running about the set during a late night stint on the BBC’s World News.

The host was clueless as to where to stand or what camera to look at as the 2am broadcast began.

Ten seconds of very awkward silence followed, after which Tom introduced himself without making reference to the gaffe.

And it’s not just the presenters who are prone to on air gaffes.

According to BBC sources the unfortunate incident went down “like a lead balloon” with bosses, who were said to be “investigating”.

‘True Blood’ actress Anna Paquin later revealed it was her on the monitor, tweeting excitedly: “MY BREASTS!! SO FUNNY ON SO MANY LEVELS”

Responding to the investigation, she added: “What’s there to look into my tits photobombed the news because someone was watching [‘True Blood’] in view of camera.”
