Two-Year-Old Comforted By Dad's Death With Teddy Bears Made From His Policeman Uniform

Heartbreaking ๐Ÿ’”.

A toddler is able to remember his dad who died through two teddy bears made from his policeman uniform.

Blake Snyder, from Missouri, US, died in September 2016 after being shot while responding to a call.

His wife, Elizabeth Snyder, said their two-year-old son Malachi still doesnโ€™t understand heโ€™s not coming home.

โ€œMalachi has been asking for his daddy a lot which is hard,โ€ his wife, Elizabeth Snyder, told KTVI. โ€œI donโ€™t know how to respond to him yet.โ€

As a keepsake, Snyder had Malachi two teddy bears made from his dadโ€™s uniform.

Uploading the photo to Facebook on 30 November, Snyder wrote: โ€œThese beautiful bears were made for us from Blakeโ€™s uniforms.

โ€œHe loved Chi with every fibre of his being and wanted the world for him.

โ€œThese two boys mean everything to me, and Iโ€™m thankful I have a bit of Blake still here with me.โ€

The photo has been liked more than 20,000 times.

โ€œWhat an absolute treasure and special gift that is,โ€ one person wrote. โ€œA beautiful way for your son to remember his dad.โ€
