Beatles fans have got much to look forward to in the next couple of weeks.
First, there’s an intimate documentary from Oscar winner Ron Howard exploring the early years when John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr burst onto the scene, broke America and became global superstars into the bargain.
There’ll also be an album capturing the electric atmosphere of their sold-out concerts at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl in 1964 and 1965, when even sanguine producer George Martin admitted you couldn’t hear a note over the screams of teenagers.
‘The Beatles: Eight Days a Week - The Touring Years’ is being shown in UK cinemas from 15 September. You can book tickets now by clicking here.
But perhaps there’ll only be a few things in the new film you don’t already know - you can test your knowledge on all things Fab Four in our quiz below. Be warned, this is the fairly easy one - a harder one for the die-hards will follow on Monday... you can consider this the warm-up!
