Bette Midler is getting the witches back together this Halloween as a special treat for Hocus Pocus fans.
It’s been 27 years since the singer and actor appeared alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy in the spooky comedy film, and now they are returning for one night only.
Bette revealed on Instagram that the trio are taking part in a virtual ‘Hulaween’ fundraiser for the New York Restoration Project on Friday 30 October.
She shared a snap of her, SJP and Kathy in character as the Sanderson sisters, writing: “Your 3 fav witches - @sarahjessicaparker @kathynajimy & ME - are returning for 1 night only on 10/30 at 8p ET!
″In Search of the Sanderson Sisters is the best thing to happen to Halloween since Hocus Pocus + Reeses Pieces.
The ticketed virtual special will also include appearances from the likes of Glenn Close, Jamie Lee Curtis, Todrick Hall, Jennifer Hudson and Meryl Streep.
The website for the event warns that the show will not be broadcast again after the listed date and time, with tickets now on sale.
The 1993 Disney classic saw Bette, Sarah and Kathy as witches Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson, who return to modern day Salem 300 years after being hanged.
The cast’s reunion comes ahead of the confirmed sequel to Hocus Pocus, which will debut exclusively on the Disney+ streaming service.
Bette recently confirmed to Yahoo! Entertainment that she will reprise her role as Winifred, but there’s no official confirmation yet as to whether Sarah Jessica and Kathy will join her on screen.
As yet, there is no official release date for Hocus Pocus 2.
