Celebrity barber, Slidercuts aka Mark Maciver has spoken out about what needs to be done to tackle the misrepresentation of afro hair in the media, schools and professional industries.

Maciver, who has styled for likes of Tinie Tempah and Lebron James, spoke to HuffPost UK to mark Black History Month, in his barbershop in Hornsey Road, London, about how the standards of beauty often impose more pressure on women than men.
