Miley Cyrus took some time out during her Glastonbury set over the weekend to shine a light on some burgeoning talent, welcoming Black Mirror star Ashley O to the stage.

Since Ashley O’s Black Mirror episode debuted last month, we’ve had her hit On A Roll on a near-constant loop, so we were thrilled to see her make her Glastonbury debut on Sunday afternoon.

Dressed in her trademark lavender wig and a bejeweled On A Roll jacket, Ashley was met with a warm reception by the Glastonbury crowd as she performed her signature hit, which has been very slowly making its way up the UK singles chart in the last couple of weeks, live for the first time.

“Do we have any Ashley O fans?” she asked, as she entered the stage, to huge cheers, while the crowd were also seen singing along with her performance.

She also had a celebrity fan in Kylie Minogue, who was seen watching in the wings following her triumphant “Legends” slot performance.

Sadly, Ashley only stuck around for one song, with Miley following Ashley O’s performance with a rendition of Nine Inch Nails’ Head Like A Hole, the track on which On A Roll is based.

Ashley O first rose to prominence in the Black Mirror episode Rachel, Jack And Ashley Too, which tells the story of her rise to fame and the unusual relationship she has with her aunt, her primary caregiver and manager.

On A Roll debuted on streaming services shortly afterwards, with the track’s music video already racking up 10 million views in the space of two weeks.

Rachel, Jack And Ashley Too is one of three episodes that make up the Netflix show’s fifth series, alongside Striking Vipers and Smithereens, the latter of which stars Fleabag actor Andrew Scott.
