The snaps give very little away about the episodes, which feature a number of big names.

San Junipero’ will be directed by Owen Harris, whose credits include ‘Kill Your Friends’, and stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw (‘Doctor Who’) and Mackenzie Davis (‘The Martian’).

Bryce Dallas Howard and James Norton take the lead in ‘Nosedive’, which is being directed by Joe Wright (‘Anna Karenina’).

The individual episode plots are currently being kept under wraps, but Charlie previously teased: “It’s fair to say that this season, some of the ideas are because we were aware of the greater progress of the world, that you’ve got to go two steps forward to stay ahead of reality at the moment…”

Netflix have ordered a bumper load of 12 ‘Black Mirror’ episodes, and the first drop will see six made available online simultaneously.
