4MG and Siobhan Phillips are the third and fourth acts through to this year’s Britain’s Got Talent final.
After they were announced as the winners of the viewers’ vote, magic act 4MG said: “A year ago today we never thought we’d be on this stage so just follow your dream.”
Only Simon Cowell chose stuntman magician Matt Stirling who made the final three, with Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon all opting to put singer and comic Siobhan through to the final.
A teary-eyed Siobhan said: “You really don’t understand what this means. Thank you so much.”
Both acts will join Dave & Finn and the children from Flakefleet Primary School in Sunday’s finale, who both made it through during Monday’s first live semi-final.
Dave and police dog Finn were the first to gain their place – and the chance to win £250,000 – with the judges putting Flakefeet Primary School through.
Monday’s BGT was largely uneventful with everything running smoothly... well, apart from when Amanda yelled the f-word.
The judge was participating in a (seriously creepy) performance by illusionist The Haunting when her nerves got the better of her.
As soon as she realised what she’d shouted, Amanda gasped and covered her mouth before apologising profusely during the judges’ comments.
“I said a really terrible word... I know there are kids watching, I know my kids are watching, so massive apologies,” she said. “I can honestly say I feel terrified.”
Britain’s Got Talent continues tomorrow at 7.30pm.
