The winners of the British Wildlife Photography Awards 2016 have been announced resulting in a stunning collection of pictures which showcase the diversity of life in the United Kingdom.

From a the winning photograph (see above) which depicts a Lions Mane jellyfish to an award-winning series of photographs which documents the life of a family of weasels there were outstanding entries from photographers both professional and amateur.
