Bruce Springsteen gave one young fan the best excuse ever to be late for school.

Michael Fenerty, 10, attended Springsteen’s book signing in Philadelphia to meet the rockstar himself.

But seeing as the queue was long and Michael would get home late, he got the 67-year-old singer to sign his late note... and being the legend that he is, Sprinsteen happily obliged.

Now that’s one late note that is hard to ignore.
