BT Phone Box Hasn’t Been Used For So Long It Has A Hedge Growing In It

As we become ever more reliant upon our smartphones, nature has decided to start reclaiming our phone boxes.

Remember those? They were quainter times when one would step into a cubicle and feed money into the slot to ring your friends on their landlines.

This phone box in particular has not been used for so long it has a full hedge growing inside (and out of) it.

The overgrown cubicle was spotted in Caernarfon, just off the A499 Llandrwrog Road near Llanwnda.

The pic was sent into the Daily Post, who in turn contacted BT.

A spokesman for the phone giant said: “We will get the foliage removed at the earliest opportunity.”
