Candace Payne went viral last week when she posted an adorable video of her trying on a Chewbacca mask, and her infectious, unceasing laughter made millions of people happy.
But James Corden wasn't quite as amused, because it turns out Candace was supposed to be driving him to work. He was actually quite grumpy, until he tried on the mask for himself and realised the unrelenting joy it brought him.
She went on to chat with James on 'The Late Late Show' about her new found fame, and even got a message from Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew.
Candace Payne purchased the Star Wars Chewbacca mask while returning some items to a local shop near Dallas, Texas.
She broadcast a Facebook Live video from her car while parked outside the Kohl's department store - and the results were magical.
Her video went on to break the record for most-watched Facebook Live ever.
Payne told the BBC: “That’s just crazy. I’m just laughing - in all honesty, that is ridiculous. I’ve looked at the number of views and it just seems like someone is just playing with a calculator.”
She added: “”I could see myself in the camera, and I saw this view and I could not stop laughing at how gleeful Chewbacca looked. I thought ‘Chewbacca’s found his joy!’
