Reigning Jungle Queen Vicky Pattison has admitted she doesn’t exactly have high hopes for Carol Vorderman’s upcoming stint in the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ jungle.
In the last series of ‘I’m A Celeb’, Vicky was able to completely turn around the public’s perception of her, thanks to her positive attitude and the way she threw herself into whatever task or challenge she’s confronted with.
However, speaking ahead of this year’s run, Vicky confessed she thinks Carol will struggle on the show.
She tells The Mirror: “I’m really worried about [Carol]. We had her on [panel show] ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ and she was saying how she liked her life the way she liked it. She seemed very particular.
Vicky went on to say she thinks that Carol could even be this year’s Gillian McKeith, adding: “I think she’ll really, really struggle and I think we’ll see a meltdown if she goes in. It would be great TV.”
However, Vicky made her comments before the fee each celebrity would be receiving in this year’s show was revealed, and with Carol the top earner this year, she’ll have to stick it out if she wants to hold onto that money.
Also taking part in the new series are ‘Gogglebox’ fan favourite Scarlett Moffatt, controversial ballroom star Ola Jordan and former ‘EastEnders’ star Larry Lamb.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity’ launch show airs on Sunday, 13 November at 9pm on ITV.
