THE BUSK is a music platform. It showcases music videos and profiles fresh, new talent. If you want to listen to sound played from the streets, you've come to the right place.
You also can find your music favourites here, too.
THE BUSK recently held a charity session in Brighton to raise relief money for those affected by Hurricane Sandy across Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and the East Coast. Presenting four different performances, the event was joined by The Orange Circus Band, Rubylux, Son Belly and Jamie Jolley. All money raised was donated by the musicians to The British Red Cross and to the Ted and Honey Cafe.

About You: Bringing back music that was carried initially from the UK to the USA in the 17th century by the Pilgrims, was locked away up in the Appalachian mountains while new instruments ((banjo, vocals) and influences (African/American/Indian) were added. We are a family Band with roots in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains of Virginia. We have crafted a songbook and music which is both traditional and modern, and leans heavily on our bluegrass roots.
We've busked in London, Brighton and Canterbury. Playing on the streets is as real as it gets, and you have to work hard to entertain people and catch their attention. If you've got good tunes, plenty of energy and a little patience you can make it work and have fun with it.
The Future: We are currently working on an EP release, and will continue to play regularly at venues in London, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells.
