The next time a Jehovah's Witness rings your doorbell on a Saturday morning, open it: you just might find a leggy, red-headed supermodel brandishing pamphlets.
We were surprised to learn from the New York Post that Canadian modeling sensation and star of "The Face" Coco Rocha is a practicing member of the religion.
"There aren’t many Witnesses who are in the public eye. I can’t even name any,” Rocha, 24, tells the new issue of Du Jour magazine. “So, yeah, it’s hard sometimes when you’re here alone. You’re not there with someone who can hold your hand and say we’ll do this together.”
Rocha, who first started modeling at 15, was baptized and renewed her faith commitments at 21, a year before she got married. She says that due to her beliefs, she refuses to pose with any religious or political artifacts -- most Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate holidays and maintain political neutrality -- and shies away from any overtly risque photo shoots.
And, just like that other celebrity Jehovah's Witness, Prince, Rocha says she goes door-to-door every week: “Some people think we’re a pushy religion, but if you’re not interested, just say so.”

Did you know these other models were women of faith?
