‘Coronation Street’ actress Paula Lane has shared some emotional snaps from her last day of filming on the set of the ITV soap.
Paula has played trouble-maker Kylie Platt for the past six years, but recently announced she was stepping down from the role, following the news she was pregnant with her second child.
She’s now shared some snaps of her final day on set with ‘Corrie’ fans, beginning right at the start of her morning, in hair and make-up, where she admitted she was feeling “a host of emotions”.
The soap actress also took the moment to pose for snaps with Jack P Shepherd, who has been her on-screen husband since she debuted on the show in 2010, pondering: “What will I do without this one?”
At the end of her emotional day, Paula shared one final snap walking alone on the cobbles.
However, ‘Corrie’ fans hoping for any news about Paula’s exit will be disappointed to hear that her final storyline is being kept tightly under lock and key for the time being.
She told the Daily Star back in April: “I’m very happy with my exit. I can’t reveal how or why or even if the door is being left open for Kylie, [but] it’s a very fitting end for the character.”
Paula is one of several long-standing ‘Corrie’ stars bidding farewell to the cobbles in recent times, with Alison King - who played Carla Connor - recently posting a similar accounts of her last days on set on her social media page.
