‘Coronation Street’ bosses have announced an exciting twist, revealing that Paula Lane’s character Kylie Platt is set to be killed off.
Paula announced her exit from the soap earlier this year, and details of how her final storyline will develop have now been unveiled.
With Tony Stewart seemingly successfully set up for the murder of Callum Logan, it looks as if the Platt family may actually get off scot-free.
However, Kylie can’t handle letting an innocent, dead man take the blame for her crime and suggests to David that they should leave Weatherfield and start a new life.
Sadly, an unexpected turn of events will then develop, leading to her death.
While bosses are keeping tightlipped on exactly how the character will die, Paula has shared her thoughts on the matter.
“It was very emotional to film the scenes knowing that I would never return and her death has huge consequences for David and all the family,” she says.
