Jack P Shepherd has revealed the lengths his ‘Coronation Street’ character David Platt is ready to go to in order to get revenge, following the death of his wife Kylie.
Kylie was murdered by Macca Hibbs earlier this year, and David - hell-bent on revenge - will now see his chance to get back at her killer, who is already in hospital with a serious head injury.
In next week’s episodes, David will decide this could be his chance to get revenge for Kylie’s death, and actor Jack has now revealed just what he’s capable of.
Speaking to Digital Spy, he explains: “David knows exactly where Macca is in the hospital so he heads off there next. I liked the scenes when David goes with flowers, chocolates and grapes, even telling the ward staff he is there to see his cousin Macca - but it’s clear he is up to something sinister.
Viewers will have to wait and see just how far David goes, and the storyline is one that’s currently keeping us on the edge of our seats.
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, the build-up to Christmas is about to get underway, and the festive season will see the return of Toyah Battersby.
Some aspects of the winter episodes are currently being rewritten though, following the sacking of Marc Anwar with immediate effect.
