Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry have given Friends fans a serious dose of nostalgia after staging a Monica and Chandler reunion.
During their time in the hit sitcom, the former co-starsâ characters became a couple, tied the knot and adopted twins, and more than 15 years since the last episode, the pair have given a glimpse at what the married couple would look like now.
Courteney posted a picture of herself and Matthew on her Instagram after they enjoyed a lunch date together, quoting their charactersâ iconic lines in the caption.
âGuess who I had lunch with today....I KNOW!!â she wrote. âCould I BE any happier? #realfriends.â
Cue hysterics from fans of the show...
It wasnât just fans who were overjoyed to see Monica and Chandler back together, as their co-stars also shared their excitement.
Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green, wrote: âMatty!! I love you, guys.â
Lisa Kudrow, aka Phoebe Buffay, wrote: âLucky lucky. #beautifulpeople.â
Last month, Jennifer âbroke Instagramâ when she joined the photo-sharing site and posted a picture of all six cast members together during a recent reunion.
The star later went on to reveal she is âworking on somethingâ with her former colleagues.
She told TV host Ellen DeGeneres: âWe would love for there to be something, but we donât know what that something is.
âSo weâre just trying, weâre working on something.â
Ellen then pressed whether the project could be a feature-length film, but Jen remained tight-lipped, saying she doesnât want to âlead people onâ by giving any further information.
The cast of Friends have always maintained that they wouldnât want to revisit the classic sitcom characters, including Lisa Kudrow, who recently branded the idea âsadâ.
