Craig David’s career has rebounded massively, with his first number one album in the UK charts for sixteen years, and the honour of turning on London’s Oxford Street Christmas Lights.
Last week, he won a MOBO award for Best Male Act, and now, he’s responsible for this year’s Children in Need single, and he premieres the video for ‘All We Needed’ today.
Craig told Radio Two: “This song is extremely personal to me, and I’m so proud that it’s the BBC Children in Need single this year.”
The official BBC Children in Need single has a long history and, as the official artist behind this year’s, Craig joins a long line of celebrated performers including Jess Glynne, Gareth Malone’s All Star Choir, Ellie Goulding and Girls Aloud.
All profits from the single will go to the Charity, with a minimum of 50p from each sale.
BBC Children in Need which currently funds 2,400 projects supporting disadvantaged children and young people in communities across the UK.
