5 Cute Animals To End The Week: Dog Hiding In Tunnel At Crufts Is A Big Brexit Mood

Same Kratu, same.

It’s been yet another week jam-packed with Brexit news – and we’re still not really sure what’s going on.

One person, or should we say animal, who is embodying the nation’s Brexit mood right now is Kratu the rescue dog, who went AWOL at Crufts in the agility course and ended up taking shelter in a tunnel.

Here’s his story to kickstart our unmissable #AOTW (animals of the week, obvs) round-up. I know I say it every week, but this one’s a good ’un.

Nope.
Crufts / The Kennel Club
Nope.

1. Kratu Does His Own Thing.

Kratu captured the hearts of the nation this week when he steered clear of his second jump at Crufts and, rather than finishing off the course, made a beeline for the tunnel where he didn’t emerge for quite some time. When he was finally coaxed out, he jumped over one hurdle before running to see some volunteers sat at the edge of the arena. Legend.

While he was branded “clueless” and “a good idiot dog” (rude!) by some sites, on Twitter it’s been a different story altogether. The emotional support dog from Wood Green in London has become something of a national treasure, and a reminder that sometimes, we should defy the rules and do our own thing.

You do you, Kratu, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

2. Cat Looks Like Ed Sheeran.

No, really.

3. Curly Horse Rocks The NSYNC Look.

Remember Justin Timberlake in his NSYNC heyday with those fresh curly locks? Well it seems there’s a breed of horse continuing the trend. The Bashkir Curly carries a special gene which makes its coat super wavy. Sick.

4. Zoo Films Cute Reveal Of Baby Zebra.

In a video that would make any parenting blogger proud, Toronto Zoo shared a cute clip this week revealing the name of its newest addition: Obi the baby zebra. 14/10 would watch again.

5. Dog’s Quest For Snacks Is So Relatable.

Dog goes to fridge. Dog can’t find snack. Dog goes back to bed. Sound familiar?

This morning my dog heard the fridge open so he got out of bed and came to look for a snack. When he didn’t find anything, he grabbed his blanket (so it wouldn’t fall off) and went back to bed. pic.twitter.com/ZdiMJ6RArN
