'I'm A Celebrity' 2016: Danny Baker 'Signs Up' For New Series

And he's set to earn a pretty penny too.

Danny Baker has become the latest star tipped to appear in ‘I’m A Celebrity’, reportedly bagging the highest fee of this year’s contestants.

The news of his rumoured reality TV stint comes just days after announcing that he’d been told by doctors he was cancer-free, six years on from his initial diagnosis.

According to The Sun, Danny signed up for the show not long after being given the news by medics, and will be heading Down Under next month for the new series.

So far, among the other rumoured famous faces for ‘I’m A Celebrity’ are ‘Gogglebox’ cast member Scarlett Moffatt, TV presenter Carol Vorderman and model Ayda Field.

A few controversial figures have also cropped up in the list of alleged contestants, including polarising boxer Tyson Fury, former Ukip leader Nigel Farage and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, who recently came under fire over a video in which he’s seen mocking Islam.

Producers also have a treat in store for the celebs, with reports claiming they’ll be serving up one of the most disgusting jungle treats ever during this year’s Bushtucker Trials.

‘I’m A Celebrity’ is expected to return to our screens in November.
