Taking to Twitter to finally offer his side of the story, Danny appeared to back up eye-witness accounts claiming he’d been the victim of an attack:

INo daughter should have 2 see their old man being toe punted in the nut by 5 complete pricks. I'm sweet Bae. ❤️❤️❤️ https://t.co/tSTrTDl5Tr

He also addressed Mark’s response to the altercation, in which he claimed he “wasn’t personally wasn’t involved in any physical confrontation”:

Danny then shared a picture of Mark with his friends, in a final dig at the star, writing: “Friends eh. How to ruin ya pals career before it had even started. Legends.”

The actor had been at the festival with his wife-to-be, celebrating their joint stag and hen do in the lead-up to their wedding next month.

She spoke out about the incident in an interview with The Sun, stating: Mark called him a c*** and was egging on his bunch of idiot friends all day.

Danni also offered her own statement on her Twitter page, writing: “My dad is the strongest person I know he isn’t a fighter… just because he plays good acting [roles] as a hard man does not mean he is that in real life.

“I admit that I was shouting that Mark Wright is a c***. Because his silly mates thought it was okay to barge past my dad knowing he was drunk.”

The alleged altercation comes just days after Mark’s brother Joshua claimed that Danny had been on the receiving end of a “slap” from Mark at a charity football game.
