The Beckham brood were all smiles as their famous dad shared a snap of them visiting a statue erected in his honour at LA Galaxy’s stadium for the first time.

David was immortalised in bronze earlier this year, which stands outside LA Galaxy’s grounds to commemorate the five years he played for them.

Over the weekend, David shared a photo of his kids next to the statue during a holiday in LA, revealing this was their first time seeing it in person.

Very proud moment tonight taking the kiddies to see daddies statue for the first time,” he wrote, alongside photos of all four of his children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – smiling proudly next to the figure.

Around the time the statue was unveiled in March, David was the victim of a large-scale prank at the hands of his close friend, James Corden.

David was unimpressed when he set eyes on a rubbish-looking fake statue ahead of the unveiling, telling the sculptor: “I don’t want to offend you but this is such a big thing for me. It’s taken a year to get to this point. There is no way that can go in front of the stadium. It’s embarrassing.”

Fortunately, he soon learned the whole thing was a ruse as part of a skit on The Late, Late Show, when a forklift driver arrived and tore the whole thing down, much to Becks’ delight.

The Beckham family were recently photographed looking similarly proud at one of Victoria’s fashion shows in London Fashion Week.

As the former Spice Girl showcased her Spring/Summer 2020 collection, David sat in the FROW with eight-year-old daughter Harper on his knee and his sons (not to mention US Vogue editor Anna Wintour) by his side.
