'Disappearing' Videos Are The Newest Way Siblings Can Taunt Each Other

'How did you do it!?'

Siblings have been teasing each other since the beginning of time - anyone who has a brother or sister will know growing up in the same household means you are bound by the rules of siblinghood to fight, prank and wind them up.

The outcome is the same every time: someone usually ends up in tears.

The latest way siblings are pranking each other is the #MagicForHumansChallenge, started by American TV magician Justin Willman for his new Netflix show.

The challenge sees someone sit on a chair and then be covered with a blanket in order to ‘make them disappear’. When the blanket is removed everyone pretends they can’t see them.

The results have been quite spectacular so far but by far our favourite is David Dobrik. As a testament to all sibling rivalries his younger brother’s initial upset is almost immediately replaced by sheer respect at the quality of the prank.

Enjoy.

I highly recommend that everyone turns their siblings invisible HAHAHAH pic.twitter.com/SK4jLw7cNa

Short but still just as funny is this, this from Julissa in California, with her sister and younger brother.

If youre having a bad day, you should definitely open this😂🤦🏼♀️ pic.twitter.com/kw25xbcLOx

Of course it doesn’t always go to plan and sadly Makayla Cunningham’s sister wasn’t far from happy about the prospect of being invisible...

well that escalated quickly pic.twitter.com/pSMBMwILZX

Thankfully Cunningham was quick to upload a second video showing her sister fully recovered and blowing bubbles.

She said: “She is not traumatized and quite all right [sic].”

update: after recovering she was able to watch the video and laugh at the situation, thought it was funny, and then continued blowing her bubbles 😂😂😂 she is not traumatized and quite all right pic.twitter.com/iJYu8pUr4n

At the other end of the spectrum some have even gone better than expected - with the child actually playing along.

Did the #MagicForHumanschallenge on my godchild last night and she told us she went up to the pub and drank a few beers while invisible😂😂 she’s 7

That’ll teach us for trying to get one up on our younger family members.
