Mickey Mouse has had an unlikely skater boy makeover, as Vans launches an exclusive collaboration to celebrate 90 years of everyone’s favourite cartoon rodent – yeah, he’s that old.
The Disney x Vans collection, which celebrates decades of iconic Mickey (and Minnie) moments – from Fantasia to the black and white silent film, ′Plane Crazy’ – includes 11 designs across shoes, clothing and accessories.
Released in stores and online on Friday 5 October, we expect it to sell out and fast.
Expect sneakers, sneakers and more sneakers, with Vans’ iconic Old Skool, Sk8-Hi and slip-on shoes all making an appearance. We particularly love the Old Skools with an 80s twist and the Fantasia-inspired Sk8-Hi in blue suede and velvet, complete with celestial moon and star embroidery.
If you’re into apparel try the Minnie Mouse spot jumper or the checkerboard pullover hoodie. As for backpacks, we’re (again) a big fan of Minnie’s spots.
There's also plenty of shoes in the children’s collection too and the sneakers look even better on teeny feet, if you ask us.
