‘EastEnders’ Christmas 2016 Spoilers: Festive Season Begins With Children’s Nativity Play

🎄🎅

Things are about to start looking seriously Christmassy in ‘EastEnders’, thanks to the arrival of the children’s nativity play.

Albert Square’s smallest residents will gather together to perform the traditional production, and we’ve now been given a sneak peek at the episodes:

The play marks a big milestone in Stacey Fowler’s life, as she ended up giving birth to her son Arthur at last year’s production.

In the months that followed, viewers saw the character struggle with postpartum psychosis, during which time she believed her baby was the son of God.

The festive episodes will see her battle nerves ahead of returning to the church and at one point, it looks as though she may not have the courage to go in and see her oldest daughter Lily in the production.

Thankfully, Martin manages to come to an agreement with Ian Beale, and leaves work just in time to accompany Stacey to the play.

These ‘EastEnders’ scenes air on Friday 16 December. Catch up on all the latest soap news and spoilers here.
