'EastEnders’ viewers are set to get a blast from the past as Phil Mitchell’s former flame Lorna Cartwright is returning to Walford, according to reports.
Lorna, played by Janet Dibley, was last seen in Albert Square back in 1998, and according to The Sun, she’ll make a surprise reappearance when Phil bumps into her at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
A source tells the paper: “Lorna was a great character and viewers loved her, especially her chemistry with Phil.
A number of Phil’s former lovers have returned in recent years, and last week’s live week left viewers stunned when Kathy Beale stepped out of a black cab.
Since being back in the Square, Gillian Taylforth has been involved in a number of huge storylines, splitting her time between Phil and his family, and her son Ian, who hasn’t exactly had an easy twelve months.
‘EastEnders’ is also set to welcome new cast member Ted Reilly, who has the task of making Johnny Carter his own, after being cast in the role that was previously held by Sam Strike.
Sadly, over the weekend it was announced that two fan favourites will be leaving - but is a reunion on the cards before they depart?
