It seems that Martin Fowler and Stacey Branning might finally get their happy ending in ‘EastEnders’, as in tonight’s episode (Friday 25 March), he surprises her with an engagement ring.
Viewers saw Stacey pop the question to Martin earlier this week, and he’ll now decide to make things official, by buying a diamond ring.
Stacey and Martin’s relationship hasn’t exactly gone smoothly since kicking off last year, and the couple are currently dealing with the fall-out from the revelation that Kush is actually baby Arthur’s father.
Lacey Turner’s character is currently living in a mother and baby unit with Arthur, after suffering from postpartum psychosis following his birth.
She’s now begun making visits back to Walford, and in Tuesday’s episode, viewers saw her finally sit down with her half-brother Kyle, who revealed to her that he was transgender.
Viewers praised the scenes, which saw Kyle explain his life to Stacey, and the episode ended with Stacey inviting Kyle to live with Martin and her daughter Lily.
It was recently announced that Kyle’s mum, who had an affair with Stacey’s dad, will be arriving in the Square too, and played by none other than Denise Welch.
These ‘EastEnders’ scenes air at 8pm on Friday 25 March.
