Euro 2016 is almost upon us and with it comes yet another sea of talent that clubs worldwide can dip into, with hoards of scouts expected to be in the stands in France to watch the hottest prospects dazzle in this summer's highly anticipated tournament.
Stars like Kingsley Coman and Anthony Martial have already gained publicity despite their tender ages, but there are still plenty out there who are somewhat unknown quantities.
7. Leroy Sane - Germany
With a wonderful, bouncy afro to rival the likes of Marouane Fellaini and David Luiz, this would be enough to catch the eye of his growing spectators were it not for his equally attractive skills with the ball at his feet.
He might only have three caps to his name for the Germans, but like we saw with Mesut Ozil at the 2010 World Cup, Joachim Loew is not afraid to gift opportunities to his emerging talents.
Sane's dribbling should be a menace to opposition defenders this summer, and his dangerous play down the wing earned him nine goals and seven assists in the Bundesliga for his club Schalke this season.
6. Alessandro Schopf - Austria
Another Schalke star, but one who will be turning out for Germany's neighbours Austria, who are being touted as one of the dark horses of the competition.
Like Sane, Schopf has only had a brief taste of action on the international stage, although he did find the net against Malta in a friendly a week ago.
Schopf is arguably the brightest Austrian prospect having began his career at Bayern Munich, before showcasing his capabilities during two successful years at Nurnberg.
This prompted Schalke to bring in the attacking midfielder after the new year, and he made an immediate impact with 11 more appearances.
5. Nicholae Stanciu - Romania
Romania do not boast a huge array of young talent, but one that has constantly floated around is 23-year-old Nicholae Stanciu.
Anyone who has played the game Football Manager will know what a star he becomes in the simulated engine, but he has taken slightly longer to blossom in the real world.
However, the silky winger now has the perfect moment to highlight the buzz around him and build on the 12 league goals he scored from the wide positions for his club Steau Bucharest.
4. Nico Elvedi - Switzerland
Borussia M'Gladbach have just sold Granit Xhaka to Arsenal for a reported £30million, and his Swiss compatriot Nico Elvedi might just be their next prized asset as the highly-rated defender looks to make an impact in his first major tournament.
He'll face fierce competition for a starting berth, with players such as Johan Djourou and Fabian Schar possessing a lot more experience at this level, although Vladimir Petković is rumoured to be fond of the player, who was first choice for his Bundesliga employers in the latter part of the season.
3. Breel Embolo - Switzerland
At the other end of the pitch, more pressure will be put on Elvedi's team-mate Breel Embolo, who has been heavily linked with a move away from his current club Basel in his homeland.
In fact, the Premier League could be calling after he was linked with Tottenham, who could decide to use the Euros as a the ultimate test to see what Embolo is capable against quality opposition.
He netted 13 goals in the Swiss League, but it will now be interesting to see how he does if Petkovic allows him to spearhead the nation's attack.
2. Alexander Golovin - Russia
Russia have had mixed results with their prodigies. We saw the highs of Andrey Arshavin, who dazzled at Arsenal, but quickly allowed his momentum to fall away, and the lows of Alan Dzagoev, who was tipped for great things at Euro 2012, but ultimately came up short.
Golovin, then, offers a new lease of life in Russia's talent circle, but whether Leonid Slutsky opts to entrust the youngster in the centre of midfield remains to be seen.
The 20-year-old is known to be a special creative outlet who can control the tempo of the game and pick a key pass. You can rest assure he will get a slice of action one way or another.
1. Renato Sanches - Portugal
He is only 18 years of age but has already wowed the footballing world enough to secure an €80million move to German giants Bayern Munich after just one sparkling season with boyhood team Benfica.
Manchester United worked hard to bring him to Old Trafford, and they may be kicking themselves as Sanches certainly looks to be the most promising Portugal player to break through since Cristiano Ronaldo.
Strong on the ball, Sanches is a solid box to box midfielder, capable of driving through the heart of midfield and create chances for his team-mates.
Knowing where he will be playing his football next season, he will have the luxury of relaxing and showing just why Bayern were willing to fork out so much for someone so young.
