August Bank Holiday is a highlight of the working calendar - a full three days to make the most of the summer sunshine/inevitable rain.
Every year we make grand plans with those extra 24 hours: an EasyJet special, to see long-lost friends or just have three mornings with no alarm clock - the possibilities are endless.
But disappointingly the reality of a bank holiday weekend never quite matches up to our high expectations.
