Facebook And Instagram Down: Social Media Giant Turns To Twitter To Announce Problems

People are reporting problems with Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp... via Twitter.

Users started reporting outages at around 4pm UK time on Wednesday.

Even Facebook, which also owns Instagram and WhatsApp, used the rival social media site to report issues.

We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
