'First Dates' Viewers Fall For Heartwarming Pensioners Patricia And Alan

First Dates’ viewers had their hearts well and truly warmed by a mature couple on Monday’s episode.

Fans were introduced to Patricia and Alan, who were both looking for someone to spend their twilight years with, on the Channel 4 dating show.

Both had emotional backstories, as Patricia’s husband passed away following a battle with cancer, while Alan lost his wife seven years ago, after she had early onset dementia.

But despite their sad experiences, both explained how they were determined to make their later years count:

We’re 💯% with you, Patricia. #FirstDates pic.twitter.com/Qc28Eg9oKl
