This article contains a few spoilers for the Game Of Thrones series finale, but we’re going to leave the big details out, OK?

Game Of Thrones fans spotted an unexpected addition to the series eight finale, which aired in the early hours of Monday morning.

The episode saw a number of loose ends tied up (don’t worry, we’re not going to say what happened) but one scene has left us with a big question: Who left the water bottle in shot?

The rogue plastic bottle could be seen behind Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) during a meeting at King’s Landing and plenty of fans spotted it:

The blunder comes just weeks after a coffee cup managed to make it into a scene.

HBO made light of the mistake, with a statement that read: “The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea.”

John Bradley told HuffPost: “I don’t know what kind of coffee Emilia [Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen] is drinking, but judging by her performance this year, it’s so strong... I’ll have a cup, please.

“The energy she’s giving throughout the season is superb.”

The gaffe was later edited out of the scene for future broadcasts, so you can probably expect to see that errant water bottle disappear soon too.
