It's not unusual to be in a museum and feel like people are cooing at artworks when it looks like nothing special - like when Tracey Emin put an unmade bed in an exhibition, it wasn't quite clear to many why it counted as art.
To highlight this bizarre quirk of the art world, Twitter user TJ Khayatan put a pair of glasses on the floor in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and people genuinely believed it was an art installation.
“Upon first arrival we were quite impressed with the artwork and paintings presented in the huge facility,” TJ Khayatan told BuzzFeed.
“However, some of the ‘art’ wasn’t very surprising to some of us.
“We stumbled upon a stuffed animal on a gray blanket and questioned if this was really impressive to some of the nearby people.”
