Olivia Colman and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are among the leading British nominees at the upcoming Golden Globes.
Unlike most awards shows, the Globes recognise the best offerings from both film and TV, and the full list of nominations were released on Monday morning.
While Netflix offering Marriage Story is the most-recognised film, with six nominations, the third series of The Crown is joint top in the TV stakes with four nominations, alongside Chernobyl and Unbelievable.
The Crown’s leading lady Olivia Colman is up For Best Actress In A Drama, with co-stars Tobias Menzies and Helena Bonham Carter also up for awards.
Fleabag has received three nominations, including Best Actress In A Musical Or Comedy for Phoebe Waller-Bridge, while The Irishman and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood have also done well for themselves in the film categories, with five each.
It’s probably worth noting that the much-discussed final series of Game Of Thrones has just one nomination for Kit Harington, while fellow British actor Taron Egerton has also been recognised for his work in Rocketman.
